I just thought this was just a surreal view. Sun shining and a black sky. Taken on State Highway 12, eastbound. I think this was just east of Segundo.
Just looking south from the cabin
Another of my little wild friends. Just hanging out by the cabin, eating the weeds.
Hundreds of Cholla (pronounced 'choya') scattered about the place. Most have this really bright pink flower but I have some with yellow and orange too.
The cabin. Made from one of two connex containers I had delivered back in 2004. I painted the south wall white to keep it cooler in the sun.
